This has the potential to be a really good app, it just lacks complete content matter. The simulations are very well done, the intro showing the start of the filtration process of the kidneys, drilling down to the renal cortex and the renal medulla, down to the glomerular capsule and glomerulus, then showing the filtration of blood solutes taking place in the glomerular capsule, to the proximal convoluted tubules, to the loop of henle, to the distal convoluted tubules, to the collecting ducts, as urine exits out of the renal pyramid of the medulla, into the minor calyx to the major calyx, out through the ureters and into the urinary bladder. Very well done simulations makes understanding the basic physiological process of renal flirtation a lot more easy for a student to visualize then simply reading the text book explanation. Only extras that could be added is content explaining GFR, and drilling down also to the maculla densa cells, glanular cells, etc. Would like to see more content from these developers besides this portion of the urogenital system. Again these simulations are very well done, just need more anatomical systems added before rolling out a final product, if so.....I am definitely sold on purchasing this product.
Great app - specially when its free. Need to add more detail.
Great ap. short and sweet but there definitely needs to be a lot added. There are only one or two major pathologies and I would like to see more.
Very very helpful app for me. Thank you so much!!
AWESOME APP.. To refresh on some facts on the go.. MUST HAVE for all those interested in Kidney Urology..!!! Thanq AC Simulation.. Keep it up!
Great ap for urology and nephrology healthcare professionals and students.
Strong work, huge fan of this app. I was looking for some exciting apps for pediatrics to install on my iPad. After a long search I have found This app. also include some more information about Kidney disease in the app! By the way, you offer a great service in curating medical apps like this.
I love having the book as a reference for titrating drips on my pts, but I think Ill get a lot more use out of the app since the book isnt always around. There is a ton of info in this app, but its still very clean and user-friendly. Easy to find what youre looking for. Good job
Very happy to see this, it is quite convenient.
Great app with loads of information!
Really beautiful and seamless app with great content. Very easy to use!
I would have given 5 * had they included the How the Kidney Works simulation which I have on an older iPad.
Really beautiful and seamless app with great content. Very easy to use!
